1.What this page explains
This reference page is a phrase bank for opinion and argumentation. It is designed across levels and can be used for written and spoken tasks: short opinions, discussions, comments, presentations, essays, and more formal argumentation.
Core structure:
position
→ reason
→ example / evidence
→ limitation
→ counterargument
→ weighing
→ conclusion
Examples:
The page distinguishes three main registers:
neutral-general
spoken / discursive
formal / written
Core rule:
Strong argumentation is not about using as many connectors as possible. It is about making the logical relationship between claim, reason, evidence, limitation, and conclusion clear.
The page is reference material. It contains no exercises or tests.
